It also didnt stop them from hoping my NM would become a proper parent because once I was rescued from adoption and living with them, they engineered a reconciliation between my parents and sent me back.<br /><br />Even when I was old enough to tell them very clearly exactly what was going on in our household and how NM abused me, they made no effort to rescue me.
