"Light," like her partner-in-crime, Tracy Culleton, has written a book. And, like Tracy, she has written it under a pseudonym...she is calling herself Drew Keys. The entry below should tell you all you need to know about trusting what you read on this site...personally, having personally experienced "Light" writing an article with untrue information in it and then banning the highly qualified professional psychologist who pointed out her "errors," I would never trust anything she said, not even if I was standing in a cloudburst and she said it was raining!
Light’s House
Light is Michelle Ede from Tracy Culleton’s (“Danu Morrigan”) site noted in Beware this site DoNM. Michelle is the person who banned me from the site when I stuck up for a bona fide, highly credentialed psychologist who had attempted to correct something in an article that Michelle had posted on the site, namely that narcissists were never violent and if your mother was violent to you, she was not a narcissist. She banned the psychologist, psychologists and other mental health professionals are no longer allowed to join the site (or if they do, to reval themselves as such, and never corrected the misinformation in the article. Then she banned me for sticking up for the psychologist, saying I didn’t belong on the site because my mother was violent. During all of this, my father was on his deathbed, which Michelle and Tracy both knew, and he died two days after I was banned—talk about kicking someone when she’s down!
Michelle hates Sam Vaknin with a passion and on Tracy’s site, he is not even allowed to be mentioned—if you mention him or one of his sites on that site, Michelle will delete your post and send you a warning! I found this especially odd since Vaknin is a self-acknowledged narcissist and has decided to use his personality disorder to make money. He is shamelessly self-promoting and blatant about not only his narcissism, but how he (and other narcissists) function, their motivation, and their lack of remorse. One would think that Michelle would find him an endless source of useful material, especially since he holds a doctorate from Pacific Western University in Encino, California (not the diploma mill in Honolulu) and Michelle’s credentials don’t exceed high school. Here it is—NPD from the horse’s mouth—and Michelle has the temerity to basically call him a liar (Vaknin has been competently diagnosed on two different occasions, several years apart—Michelle, with no credentials whatsoever to her name (she is a finish carpenter!), does not accept any validity in Vaknin’s writing). You can read about Vaknin here, here, and here.
When I first came across Michelle’s site about a year ago, I read an article that seemed strangely familiar. I couldn’t place it exactly, so I copied a few key phrases, plugged them into Google, and up came a match to the late Joanna Ashmun’s site. How convenient—plagiarizing a dead person so as to have a very low chance of being called out on it. What I found especially interesting was that while the articles in question (not all of them by Ashmun) were largely uncredited cut-and-paste jobs, Michelle had altered some of them by deleting information with which she did not agree, and substituting her own information, a la her treatise on NPDs and violence on Tracy’s site. Unfortunately, when I went through Michelle’s site this morning, I was unable to find the copied material so I must assume that Michelle has removed this material and completely rewritten it to reflect her own point of view, regardless of objective reality.
The credibility of the site is further tainted by the fact that Michelle is not what she purports to be: plug hr name and hometown (Amesbury, MA) into Google and be prepared for a shock: according to multiple sites like Spokeo, Lookup.com, Radaris, etc., she shares an address with a Mary Ede (age 78) and two other women with the same surname and closer to her in age. On the DoNM website Michelle has declared herself NC from her NM and GC sister...the internet, however, begs to differ.
While there seems to be a wealth of good information on LightsHouse, because I cannot trust the author to be objective and truthful, I have to caution readers to take anything they read there with a huge grain of salt. This is a person who has spurned at least two people with greater knowledge than she has (the psychologist on Tracy’s site and Vaknin), preferring to substitute information that comes out of her own head. She—and the site—are not to be trusted.
